Depicted on this Perth Mint and Australia Post collectively produced legal tender $1 coin in the foreground is the image of Australian Nurses, one from WW1 and one from WW2, tending to a wounded soldier.  In the background of the coin is the outline of an Australian soldier playing the bugle at the Dawn Service.  The Australian Army's Rising Sun badge portrayed on the stamp on this cover is the third design iteration out of seven and it was worn by Australian military personnel through both World Wars.

On the first day cover is a finely detailed image also displaying another Australian soldier playing the bugle with the raised Australian flag, giving the perfect finishing touch to this PNC as a beautiful tribute to those who provided aid to the ANZAC forces and those who provided and continue to provide aid to the Australian Defence Forces.
