A common English variety of wheat was brought to Australia with the First Fleet, but it failed to thribe due to Australia's humid climate. Since then many successful varieties of wheat have been developed and Australia is now one of the world's largest wheat exporters. This collection is presented in the four coin set which include a ‘C’ mintmark and ‘S’, ‘B’ and ‘M’ privy marks.
