The Remembrance Day stamp and medallion cover is limited to just 2,000, and features a postmarked Poppy Wreath stamp from the Lest We Forget 2021 stamp issue and related medallion. The stamp is postmarked - 1 November 2021 | Canberra ACT 2601

Red poppies springing up from the ravaged World War I battlefields of France and Belgium paint a poignant picture, and indeed poppies have long been synonymous with remembrance. The Returned Sailors and Soldiers Imperial League of Australia, the forerunner to the Returned and Services League, first sold single silk poppies 100 years ago, in 1921, to be worn as badges and as a source of fundraising in the lead-up to Armistice Day (now, Remembrance Day). This cover contains a specially designed silver-plated medallion that features a poppy wreath. The stamp is from the 2021 Lest We Forget issue and presents a poppy wreath that was, in 1934, presented by the Duke of Gloucester and placed in the grounds of the Australian War Memorial, Canberra (then, still under construction).
