Crux is a constellation of the southern sky, crux being the Latin word for “cross”. Commonly known as the Southern Cross, the constellation is centred on four bright stars forming the shape of a cross, together with a fifth, faint star usually included in Crux.

A standard version of the “X” coin was made available with the other 25 alphabet coins, however, there was a different colored version of the “X” coin produced in limited numbers.
