Several native Australian plants that bloom in December every year have traditionally come to symbolize the start of the Christmas season. In anticipation of the festive season, the Royal Australian Mint introduces the 2023 50c Colored Uncirculated Coin, featuring a design inspired by our native flora. The coin beautifully reimagines the distinctive red fruit of the NSW Christmas Bush as a five-pointed Christmas star. The coin's charm is further enhanced by the hanging decoration card, available in five translucent summer colors and adorned with silver foil accents.
