Celebrate 125 years of Australia’s nationhood with this official 2026 $1 uncirculated coin from the Royal Australian Mint. Released to mark the 125th anniversary of Federation on 1 January 1901, the coin symbolises the birth of the Commonwealth of Australia and the unity of the original six colonies.

The reverse features a proud kangaroo and emu standing before an outline of the Australian continent, encircled by a wreath of golden wattle (Australia’s national floral emblem). Prominently displayed are “1 DOLLAR” and the inscription “125 YEARS OF FEDERATION”. The obverse carries the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III with “AUSTRALIA 2026”.

Each coin is struck to uncirculated quality in aluminium bronze and presented in a beautifully illustrated collector card featuring a detailed map of Australia with red highlights, historical information about Federation, and national symbols.

A timeless and accessible tribute to one of the most important milestones in Australian history.
