Celebrate a century of dedication, empowerment, and community with the 2022 $1 Centenary of the Country Women's Association Uncirculated Coin from the Royal Australian Mint. This special release honours 100 years since the founding of the Country Women's Association (CWA) in 1922—an organisation that has tirelessly advocated for women and families in regional, rural, and remote Australia, providing support, education, fellowship, and a powerful collective voice on national issues.

The reverse features a touching central scene of a woman and child standing together, symbolising the intergenerational strength and nurturing spirit of the CWA. Radiating outward from this image are beams of light, representing hope, progress, and the far-reaching impact of the association’s work. Encircling the design is an intricate, lace-like border inspired by traditional handcrafts long associated with CWA members, along with the inscription "CENTENARY OF THE COUNTRY WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION $1".

Struck in aluminium bronze to brilliant uncirculated quality, the coin weighs 9.00 g and measures 25.00 mm in diameter. The obverse carries the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, encircled by "ELIZABETH II · AUSTRALIA · 2022". Supplied in a vibrant presentation card featuring purple and orange tones, historical photographs of CWA members in action, and full technical details, this coin is a meaningful tribute to the resilience, camaraderie, and lasting legacy of one of Australia’s most respected women’s organisations.
