In 1983, AC/DC flicked the switch and the world felt the surge. Raw, relentless and unapologetically loud, Flick of the Switch captured the band at full voltage — no frills, just pure Australian rock power. Now that electric moment lives on in this 2022/2023 coloured uncirculated 20-cent coin from the Royal Australian Mint. The reverse turns the coin into a miniature vinyl record, complete with a bold black outer ring and the striking album artwork that defined a new chapter in the band’s thunderous story. Colour brings the design to life, while the concentric grooves invite every fan to drop the needle and crank it up.

Struck in durable cupro-nickel and presented in a protective card that mirrors the original album sleeve, this coin is a high-octane salute to one of rock’s most enduring forces. Whether you’ve been headbanging since the first power chord or you’re collecting the soundtrack of a generation, this release delivers pure AC/DC attitude in legal-tender form.
