The 2025 Fine Silver Proof Dollar from the Royal Canadian Mint marks the 25th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa. Crafted in 99.99% pure silver, it honors Canada’s fallen, including the unidentified soldier from Vimy Ridge (2000). The reverse, by Pandora Young, depicts the tomb’s granite sarcophagus with three Memorial Crosses and a poppy. This design captures the essence of Remembrance Day.

The obverse features King Charles III’s effigy by Steven Rosati. With a limited mintage of 7,500, this proof coin is a collector’s gem. It’s presented in a black clamshell with a certificate. The coin continues the Mint’s poignant Remembrance series.
