Celebrate the living languages and cultural connections of the Gudanji/Wakaja people with this vibrant aluminium bronze coloured proof coin. Part of the Royal Australian Mint’s Our Animals, Our Country collection, created in partnership with Australia Post and artist Ryhia Dank (nardurna), the reverse features Jurrgubadi — the goanna — basking in the sun on a cool Tablelands morning. The striking coloured design continues the tradition of storytelling through pattern, Country and kinship.

Struck to Proof quality and limited to just 9,000 coins worldwide, this accessible yet collectible release honours both a cherished food source of the Barkly Tablelands and Gulf Country and the language that names it. Presented in a beautifully designed display case, it is a meaningful piece for collectors who value Australian wildlife, Indigenous culture and fine craftsmanship.
