From the Arctic ice to the Atlantic shore, thirteen creatures of Canada stand in quiet formation — each one a living emblem of a province or territory, each one carefully chosen for its place in the nation’s heraldic story. On this large 5oz proof coin, the animals rise in selective gold against a mirror field of pure silver, guided by the Arms of Canada and framed by maple leaves.

Crafted by renowned heraldic artist Cathy Bursey-Sabourin and limited to only 1,400 pieces worldwide, the design offers a sweeping, symbolic portrait of the country through its wildlife. A masterful and substantial release for collectors of fine Canadian silver.
